Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data we collect from families, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Who we are

The SCC Super Kings Academy is a junior cricket academy in Singapore, run in partnership with the Singapore Cricket Club and operated by Marina 2049 Pte. Ltd. In this policy, "we", "us" and "the academy" mean SCC Super Kings Academy as operated by Marina 2049 Pte. Ltd.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run cricket programs safely and keep families informed:

Names — of the parent or guardian and the player.
Contact details — phone numbers and email addresses.
Age and date of birth — so we place each player in the right age group.
Medical information relevant to safe participation — for example allergies, asthma or an existing injury, so coaches can respond appropriately.
Photos and videos of sessions — taken with consent, for coaching feedback and academy news.

How we collect it

Enrolment and enquiry forms — the forms you complete when you enrol a player or send us a question.
WhatsApp — when you message us, we see your number, name and the content of the conversation.
TeamApp — when you join our TeamApp community and RSVP for sessions and matches.

Why we use it

Running programs

Placing players in the right age group and squad, planning sessions and organising matches.

Safety

Making sure coaches know about medical needs and can reach a parent or guardian quickly.

Communication

Sharing schedules, term dates, fixtures, weather calls and other academy updates.

Billing

Invoicing for programs, camps and private coaching, and keeping proper financial records.

Children's data

Most of our players are under 18, so most of the personal data we hold is about children. We collect it from and with the consent of a parent or guardian: enrolment forms are completed by parents, and our communication channels are directed at parents rather than at children. If you believe we hold data about a child without the right consent, please tell us and we will put it right.

Who we share data with

Singapore Cricket Club — for membership and facility purposes, such as access to Club grounds and Club-linked membership arrangements.
Service providers — the platforms we use to run the academy, such as TeamApp and the form and payment providers that handle enrolment and billing. They process data on our behalf, only for those purposes.

We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data while the player is active in the academy. After that, we keep it only as long as the law requires — for example, records connected to payments — and then delete it.

Your rights under the PDPA

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you can, at any time:

Access the personal data we hold about you or your child.
Correct data that is inaccurate or out of date.
Withdraw consent to our collection or use of your data. We will explain the practical consequences honestly — for example, withdrawing medical or contact information may mean a player can no longer take part safely.

Photos and videos

We sometimes photograph or film training sessions and matches for coaching feedback and to share academy news. We only do this with consent, which is covered in the code of conduct families agree to at enrolment — see the Parent Hub. You can limit or withdraw photo and video consent at any time by emailing Benno@SCCSuperKingsAcademy.sg, and we will take reasonable steps to stop further use of the affected images.
