The basics
How enrolment works
Three terms a year, billed in blocks — and once you're enrolled, you just turn up and play.
Three terms a year
The junior program runs across three terms each year for players aged 5–16, and you choose the training day or days that suit your family when you enrol.
Billed in blocks
Each term is split into blocks for billing. As an example from the previous term, Term 2 2026 ran as Block 1 (4–30 May) and Block 2 (1–27 June).
No RSVP for sessions
Once enrolled, simply attend your chosen days — there's no need to RSVP for regular academy sessions.
Matches and events are separate and are RSVP'd via TeamApp — here's how.
Choose an age group
Placement is based on age to begin with, moving to ability-based groups as players progress. Each tier page has the detail on what training looks like.
Ages 5–8
Foundation
Soft balls, small groups and fun-first sessions that build coordination and a lifelong love of the game.

Introduction
A more systematic approach to training — batting, bowling and fielding technique, team play and strategy.

Intermediate
More specialised and comprehensive — match simulations, cricket-specific fitness and video feedback.

A couple of things we can already tell you about how fees work:
Girls' scholarship
New girls receive an introductory discount over their first three terms — see Women & Girls.
Fair to families
Missed sessions & credits
Life happens — and so does Singapore rain. When a session is genuinely missed, we credit it rather than lose it.
When credits are issued
Illness supported by a medical certificate, or sessions cancelled due to rain.
How long they last
Credits are valid for 12 months.
What they can be used for
Future term fees, match fees and private tuition.
Club membership
Do we need to be SCC members?
No — SCC membership is not required to join the academy. The junior program is open to members and non-members alike.
If your family would like to join the club, the Junior Sports Membership (JSM) covers ages 13–26.

Empowering Girls Through Cricket
Our introductory scholarship for girls takes 50% off the first term, 30% off the second and 10% off the third, with the standard rate from the fourth term onwards.
