Singapore National TeamSEA Games 2017

Recognised as one of the fastest bowlers in Singapore, Coach Arun represented the Singapore national team for roughly a decade, contributing to the team's success including its victories at the 2017 SEA Games. He also played for the Singapore Cricket Club's Premier team for 16 years, from 2006 to 2021 — his best performance a remarkable 7-42 in just 9.4 overs for the SCC Lions against CSC.

His most memorable achievement is a 100-run tenth-wicket partnership at age 17 that turned a match against Hong Kong. Known for putting team success first and lifting his teammates, his coaching philosophy is simple: control the controllable. Favourite cricketer: MS Dhoni.

Cricket has been at the heart of Coach Guy's life since age five. Raised in South Africa, he played competitive cricket throughout his youth, competing semi-professionally from 19 to 25 while coaching at his club and in local schools from ages 20 to 29.

Between 2015 and 2018 he was contracted as an overseas professional in Scotland, playing across multiple formats as a player-coach and working with juniors, seniors and club administrators to build programmes that lifted skills and grew the community around the sport. His goal in Singapore: inspire juniors, strengthen school and club programmes, and create clear pathways from grassroots to elite — with a focus on passion, discipline and enjoyment of the game.

ACC Level 1

A certified ACC Level 1 coach, Coach Krithic works with the academy's Foundation and Introduction groups and also trains boys at Raffles Institution. Guided by the motto “Who Dares Wins”, he encourages players to step beyond their comfort zones and trust their abilities, emphasising resilience and self-belief on and beyond the cricket field.

His favourite cricket memory is a match-winning 150-run partnership for Raffles Institution in 2019, and his greatest reward is watching trainees give their all and grow in both skill and character. Favourite cricketer: MS Dhoni.

CA Level 1First Aid Certified

Coach Luki has played cricket throughout Australia for over 40 years and understands every facet of the game, from batting and bowling craft to tactics and team culture. With more than 15 years of hands-on junior coaching, he has guided countless young cricketers and coached junior representative teams across Melbourne.

He holds a Cricket Australia Community (Level 1) accreditation, a current Working with Children Check, First Aid certification and an MBA in Sports Management. His philosophy: cricket is a sport for life — training prioritises personal progress, teamwork and lifelong enjoyment over short-term results.

Coach Manuel's cricket journey began with a paper pad and a paper ball — a memory that still fuels his appreciation for the fundamentals and the pure joy of the game. He started coaching at just 13, and as a player he took two wickets in his opening over in more than 12 games.

He firmly believes every student has a unique, innate style of batting or bowling, so his coaching refines each player's existing skills rather than imposing radical changes. His heart lies in coaching kids who are genuinely eager to improve — nurturing not only their cricket, but their character and passion for the sport. Favourite cricketer: Virat Kohli.

Coach Roshan is driven by a genuine passion for helping players unlock their potential and enjoy the game to its fullest, creating sessions that are welcoming, purposeful and fun. He believes every player has a natural style that deserves to be preserved and refined — rather than forcing athletes into rigid moulds, he builds on their strengths while steadily improving weaker areas.

His favourite cricket memory is unstructured games with friends on neighbourhood grounds — a pure joy that shapes his outlook that cricket should always be fun, at every level. Favourite cricketer: Virender Sehwag, admired for his fearless mindset and instinctive stroke-play.

ACC Level 1CSK Net Bowler

Coach Sachin's playing career spans District cricket in India, net bowling for the Chennai Super Kings, and current participation in SCC's Lions Premier Division team. An ACC Level 1 coach with six to seven years of coaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the academy.

His philosophy goes beyond cricket skills: he equips students with techniques to navigate the scenarios they meet on the field, paralleling the challenges they may face in life. Known for his unwavering determination, he finds fulfilment in helping his students succeed. Favourite cricketer: MS Dhoni.

Singapore National Team

Coach Sathish began his cricket journey at age 10 and has progressed through the Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) pathway since 2019, competing actively in Division 1 and the Development Division. He represented Singapore U19 at the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifier and the ACC U19 Asia Cup Qualifiers, and made his Men's National Team debut in July 2025.

A former Raffles A-Division player, he brings current, high-performance playing insight to every academy session. His coaching emphasises rock-solid fundamentals, high-energy fielding and clear match awareness, with a focus on work-rate and mindset development. Favourite cricketer: Ben Stokes, admired for his resilience, leadership and impact in big moments.

Bengal U19

Born and raised in India, Coach Shivam represented Bengal at U19 level as a swing bowler and played county cricket in London in 2015. His most memorable playing performance came defending 158 in a 40-over county match: six overs for 12 runs, four top-order wickets and a direct-hit run out — earning a mention as an “Upcoming Talent”.

He believes cricket is built on discipline, teamwork and mental strength — a collective effort rather than individual achievement — and his greatest coaching satisfaction is seeing young players develop their skills and perform with confidence in matches. Favourite cricketers: MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

With a decade of cricket experience, Coach Smriti is an off-spinning batter who plays for both men's and women's teams at SCC. She began coaching at the academy's summer camp — and it was love at first sight. She believes in making learning fun for kids while ensuring their fundamental cricket skills are honed, keeping sessions flexible with structured cones and colour-coordination methods when a group needs a change of pace.

Her personal triumph on the field: best bowling figures of 4 wickets for just 4 runs in 2 overs in the Sunbirds League for SCC Bengals. Her motto — always strive to be the best version of yourself, because at the end of the day, you are your biggest competition. She admires MS Dhoni.

ICC Asia Level 1

Coach Suyash's playing highlights include winning the 2022 London University Varsity for the London School of Economics against Imperial College London — with four needed off the final delivery — and figures of 5 wickets for 3 runs in 9 overs for Highgate Cricket Club in the Middlesex Club Cricket League in 2023.

An ICC Asia Level 1 coach, he is an advocate for self-improvement and dedicated, player-centric coaching, prioritising both technical skills and character growth, and values the connections formed through coaching. His reminder to players: “You are only as good as your last match.” Favourite cricketer: Ravindra Jadeja.

SCA/ACC Level 1

Coach Vedant coaches across the beginner, foundation and introduction batches, helping new and developing cricketers build strong fundamentals in an enjoyable, supportive environment. With over five years of junior coaching across a wide range of ages and abilities, his sessions emphasise simple, repeatable technique, game awareness and good training habits so players progress consistently in batting, bowling and fielding.

For Coach Vedant, cricket is a team sport: training as a unit — communicating, supporting and competing positively — helps players challenge each other to give their best and improve faster.
