Before you enrol
What age can children join the SCC Super Kings Academy?
We coach children aged 5–16 across five tiers: Foundation (ages 5–8), Introduction (8–10), Intermediate (10–12), Advanced (12–14) and Elite (14+). Placement starts by age and moves towards ability as players progress. See the junior pathway for what each tier covers.
How do I enrol my child?

Fees & credits
Are fees charged per block, per term or per session?
Fees are charged per block, with discounts when you book multiple days or blocks. Current fee tables are on each tier's page under programs.
What happens if my child misses a session because of illness or rain?
If a session is cancelled for rain, or your child misses a session with a medical certificate, we issue a credit valid for 12 months that can be used towards future term fees, match fees and private tuition.
Do non-members pay a different rate?
The Junior Cricket Program is open to members and non-members alike — if you have questions about fees, just ask us.

Where are academy sessions held?
Training runs at 11 venues across Singapore, including the SCC Padang and SCC Dempsey Cricket Field. Each venue has its own guide — see venues.

Matches
How do I tell you my child is available for a match?
RSVP through TeamApp Events: open the event, tap Yes, and make sure the correct child's profile is selected. Only confirmed attendees play. The full walkthrough is in Communication & RSVP below, and match details live on the matches page.
For U11 and above matches, what equipment does my child need and where can I get it?
Players in U11 and above hardball matches need mandatory protective equipment — helmet, guards, pads and gloves. Our kit page lists trusted cricket equipment retailers in Singapore.

Membership
Do we need to be SCC members to join?
No — the Junior Cricket Program is open to members and non-members alike.
What is Junior Sports Membership (JSM)?
Junior Sports Membership (JSM) is the Singapore Cricket Club's membership category for ages 13–26. See SCC membership types for details and how to apply.
Parents & Students
SCC Super Kings Academy Code of Conduct
The code applies to all academy sessions, matches, tours and events, and covers students aged 5–16 as well as parents, guardians, coaches and volunteers. It complements the SCC Cricket Section Players' Code of Conduct.
Respect Humility Integrity
Student responsibilities (ages 5–16)
- Play fairly and follow coach instructions.
- Wear mandatory protective equipment — helmets, guards, pads and gloves — where required.
- Give full effort in training and matches.
- Report bullying or unsafe behaviour to a coach.
Parent & guardian requirements
- Encourage effort over results and applaud good play from both teams.
- Do not give tactical, technical or behavioural instructions to players during matches.
- Remain in the designated Spectator Zones during matches; do not enter Team Zones without an explicit invitation.
- Do not interrupt coaches or players during play.
- Keep at least 10 metres from nets and fielding drills during training unless invited — the training exclusion zone.
- No alcohol, smoking or vaping near field areas.
- Seek permission before photographing other children.
Coaching staff
- Model the academy's values and enforce boundaries.
- Manage concerns professionally and intervene early on misconduct.
Safety comes first
Child welfare is paramount. Heat and lightning protocols must be followed immediately whenever coaches call them.
Discipline
Breaches of the code are handled with a progressive approach. Gross misconduct — such as racial abuse or serious bullying — results in permanent removal from the academy.

Communication & RSVP
All key academy updates — training schedules, term dates, fixtures and reminders — are shared through the SCC Cricket Section App and Stack TeamApp, which connect over 1,000 community members. Please don't unsubscribe from TeamApp emails — that's how enrolment details for upcoming terms and camps reach you.
How to RSVP for a match or event in TeamApp
- Select the event in TeamApp and tap Yes to confirm attendance.
- If you have more than one child enrolled, make sure the correct child's profile is selected before you tap.
- Every event has a capacity limit — if it's full, tapping Yes places you on the waiting list. It's important to RSVP Yes even if there's a waiting list.
- Only confirmed attendees participate, and a roll call is taken on arrival.
- To withdraw, tap the green Yes button and choose No from the pop-up menu.
