About the academy
About us
The cricket academy of the Singapore Cricket Club — juniors aged 5–16, a women's squad for 13+, and private coaching — now part of the Super Kings Academy's global network.
Who we are
A heritage club's academy, with a global network behind it
Cricket has been played on the Padang since 1837, and the Singapore Cricket Club has stood beside it since 1852. Our academy carries that tradition forward — and since 1 July 2026 it does so as the SCC Super Kings Academy, the Super Kings Academy's first centre in Southeast Asia.
We are the development arm of cricket at the SCC: a structured, values-led academy where children take their first swing with a soft ball, teenagers push towards high-performance cricket, and women of every experience level find a well-coached squad. Joining the global Super Kings Academy network — built by the people behind Chennai Super Kings — adds a proven coaching methodology and a worldwide community of centres to a club that has been at the heart of Singapore cricket for over 170 years.

Private coaching →Our mission
Enriching lives through cricket
Our programs foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, resilience and sportsmanship for all ability levels. Great cricketers are a product of that — never the other way around.
Empowering through cricket
Every child gets a place in the game — structured sessions where effort is noticed and confidence grows with skill.
Fostering life skills
Training that teaches patience, teamwork and leadership — habits that outlast any season.
Dynamic training for all
From soft-ball games for five-year-olds to hardball high performance at 14+, sessions meet players where they are.
Setting the professional standard
Qualified coaches, transparent selection policies and professional-grade tools at every level of the pathway.
The Super Kings values. As part of the Super Kings Academy network, our curriculum is built on four values that shape the person, not just the player:
Discipline Resilience Selflessness Problem-solving
Technology
Player development technology
Level Up gives our players and coaches the kind of feedback professionals rely on — video they can review together and performance data that makes progress measurable.
Level Up
Level Up is our cricket performance analysis and player development platform, used across academy sessions, SCC Cricket Section training and private coaching. Players can see:
- Batting and bowling videos from their sessions
- Batting and bowling performance data
- Session history and progress over time
- Coach feedback, plus field-setting and bowling analysis tools
It helps coaches review footage efficiently and give clearer, more specific feedback backed by evidence.
Level Up is live but still in a testing and refinement phase, so occasional issues are expected. It is a coaching support tool — not a standalone assessment or selection tool. Selection decisions continue to rest on coach observations, attendance, match performance and readiness.
The pathway
The pathway in brief
The academy is the junior end of a much bigger cricketing home. Players who grow with us feed directly into the SCC Cricket Section — one of the most active cricket communities in Singapore.
Juniors progress through five levels — placed by age at first, then by ability — before stepping up into Cricket Section squads. The Section fields 8 men's league teams and 2 women's league teams, alongside junior squads that compete from U9 softball to U17 hardball.
Our track record
These figures come from our pre-rebrand records and are being re-verified following the July 2026 relaunch. We'll publish updated numbers here once confirmed.
The partnership

The CSK partnership — what changes, and what stays the same
